Do you accept new patients or referrals?
Yes, we welcome new patients to our office and always appreciate your referral of
family, friends and co-workers.
Do you accept insurance plans?
Yes, we accept most dental plans and can file your dental claims electronically.
However, please keep in mind that your dental benefits are a contract between you
and your employer or insurance company. When you visit our office, we can assist
you in filing your dental claim electronically to your insurance company. You will
have the option of either paying for your dental visit in full and the insurance
company will forward the payment to the subscriber’s (owner) of the insurance plan
or, as a courtesy to our patients, most insurance plans will accept our request
that the insurance company assigns the payment to the dental office and you will
be responsible for any amount not covered by the dental plan. We accept Visa, Mastercard,
Debit, or Cash.
What do I do in an emergency when the office is closed?
We hope that our patients do not experience dental emergencies but, unfortunately
accidents and emergencies do happen. Tooth pain is one of the most distressing discomforts
a person can experience. It is important to understand how to treat each dental
emergency. A true dental emergency is considered any situation that causes pain
or discomfort to the mouth, teeth, or gums. If you have a dental emergency, first
check the office hours of all three of our office locations (on the contact us page),
you may call any one of our offices and the Dentist will be available to help you
with your emergency. If it is outside any of our office hours, please leave a message
on your Dentist’s office answering machine describing your emergency, proceed to
your nearest hospital emergency department, and we will return your call as soon
What can I do to help me relax during dental treatment?
Patients often say they “don’t like the Dentist” or have had “a bad experience”
and find themselves avoiding a visit to the Dentist for as long as they can. If
you have not been to the Dentist for a while or have had a bad experience in the
past, relax, we are here to help. We want your experience with the Dentist to be
as stress free and pleasant as possible. The Dentist and staff will take time to
answer questions and explain procedures. Some of our patients enjoy watching the
television above or listening to music as a distraction. Some of our patients find
that our pleasant staff and peaceful office helps them through each appointment.
How often should I replace my toothbrush?
Replace your toothbrush approximately every three months or when the bristles look
worn. When caring for your toothbrush, store it standing upright (not in closed
containers) where it does not touch other toothbrushes, rinse your toothbrush with
water after brushing and do not share your toothbrush or use someone else’s toothbrush.
How much toothpaste should I use?
A pea-sized amount of toothpaste is all that is needed for adults and a small pea-sized
amount for children. Toothpaste should never be swallowed.
